These are the findings of an international study published this year in the journal \"The Lancet\", based on the results of the 2019 Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Between 2010 and 2019, cancer deaths due to risk factors increased worldwide by around 20% to over 4 million cases. Cancer cases increased by more than 15 % in the same period.
