alcoholgebruik en overgewicht. Dat blijkt uit de dit jaar in het tijdschrift \u201eThe Lancet\u201c gepubliceerde internationale studie, waarvan de databasis de resultaten zijn van de \u201eGlobal Burden of Disease\u201c (GBD)-studie van 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Tussen 2010 en 2019 steeg het aantal sterfgevallen door kanker als gevolg van risicofactoren wereldwijd met ongeveer 20% tot meer dan 4 miljoen gevallen. Het aantal kankerdiagnoses nam in dezelfde periode met meer dan 15 % toe. Naast niet roken en een minimale alcoholconsumptie leveren beweging en voeding een belangrijke bijdrage aan de kankerpreventie.
