The DAK Health Report 2022 analyses data on incapacity for work based on the annual survey of DAK policyholders. The entire database for the 2021 reporting year comprises around 2.4 million DAK-Gesundheit members aged 15 to over 60. Of these, 53 % are female and 47% are male.
Even though the overall sickness rate has fallen by 0.1% compared to the previous year, it is also clear that the significance of mental illnesses in connection with the incapacity to work of employees continues to increase. While musculoskeletal disorders ranked first (23.2 %) in the total number of respondents among the causes of days absent from work, mental illnesses ranked second (19 %), with injuries in third place (12.4 %). Broken down by gender, mental illness is even the number one cause for women.

There are effective ways of preventing and treating musculoskeletal disorders in particular, but also stress-related mental illnesses. The digital mobee® 360 diagnostics platform, with its modular topic areas, is the ideal support for carrying out quick yet reliable screenings and check-ups on the musculoskeletal and mental health of your customers and patients and for planning and managing preventive measures and treatments based on them.
