"Our customers don't want that." A reason that speaks against the use of digital diagnostics?

So people have no interest in their health data?
Health as a fundamental value has become deeply rooted in our consciousness in recent years and has become synonymous with a high quality of life. As a central goal in life, it characterises all areas of life, industries and companies.
The health megatrend speaks in favour of this.
The "health" megatrend now permeates all areas of our everyday lives and defines entire lifestyles. Especially since the pandemic, the importance of physical integrity has become a key resource.
Bitkom study from the year 2017
In 2017, a representative Bitkom study found the following results:

Smartphone users:
- Almost every second smartphone user (45%) uses health apps
- Another 45% stated that they could imagine doing this in the future
Such apps record body and fitness data, for example, in order to improve your own health.
Health research:
- 55 per cent research health topics on the Internet
- 88 per cent inform themselves about health topics
- One in five internet users (19 per cent) researches health topics online at least once a month

Great variety of sources:
- 51 per cent inform themselves on general health portals
- 31 per cent on the websites of hospitals
- 26 per cent on doctors' websites
People have never been better informed.
Health research on the Internet has resulted in patients becoming more responsible. Two thirds of those surveyed say that they receive valuable tips on health topics through Internet research. Health is making a comeback. As a lifestyle, a self-optimisation project and a quest for mindfulness, health has long been established in all areas of life and is becoming increasingly differentiated.
Health is digital
Sales of digital health products are continuing to rise: According to a survey of industry experts, global spending on digital health products could reach €979 billion by 2025. Digital health apps in particular are now seen as a great opportunity by many consumers.

Digital health with great growth potential:
- In 2017, revenue in the global mobile health app market totalled USD 2.4 billion
Almost one in five Germans now has a health app on their mobile phone: the pedometer can remind them to exercise today and the nutrition app can help them to eat less sugar or remind them to take appropriate dietary supplements.
This should answer the question of whether people are interested in their health data. A highly relevant topic.
